
Overlooking the valley outside Throwleigh before our descent to the river. In the distance is Castle Drogo, apparently the last 'castle' ever built in England.
Little did we know that there was no path down the mountain, and we would have to cut a path through six foot grasses, humungous bramble bushes, stinging nettles, and massive clouds of flies.
