International Trade Policy Blues

It's 1:30 am and I'm getting fed up of reading about whining LDCs, Special and Differential Treatment, Special 301s and Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures. So, in a fit of whimsy, here is a series of those annoying "Separated at Birth?" series that they include as filler in high school yearbooks.

Exhibit A:

My friend, Paul Simpson, Project Manager for the soon-to-be famous Carbon Disclosure Project; and John Edwards, Son of a Millworker, former Democratic Vice-Presidential Candidate, Son of a Millworker, and smooth-talking Son of a Millworker.

Exhibit B:

Serge Gainsbourg, French pop-star-cum-Unofficial-French-Paedophile-Poet-Laureate-Icnoclast-Artistic-Wunderkind, also known as the man who told Whitney Houston that he wanted "to fuck her" on live television; and Irfan Khan, star of endless Bollywood films, including the strikingly beautiful but stultifyingly exposition-free The Warrior.

Exhibit C:

Fedward Hyde, "Mr. Morality," exploiter of financial markets, supporter of AC Milan, non-flusher of toilers, and finder of lost children; and some Australian comic whose name eludes me who humped a goat on live TV.

(Pictures of Tom Green and the dead moose are not readily available).
